"Please help me - my computer crashes with A error message. What shall I do?"
Oh damn...how terribly often did I read those messages on mostly different boards, heard it on the phone line or within a chat. Yeah - information overkill. The computer crashes - should be enough information, eh?
People - forget about "Low Oil", "no fuel", "battery low" or "door open" error lights in cars. Just install a "general car error"-light within the dashboard. Every more information would be completely senseless ...
but the best people are those you ask "what have you done to BEFORE the error occurred?" and they answer "nothing!"
Hell - if you did nothing - WHY should anything happen? And WHY did you actually sit in front of your computer if you did nothing?
really ... sometimes I wished those people would use their brains only ONCE in a lifetime ....
